“Sasuke it’s been too long,” Sasuke whispered in my ear. The tip of his nose traced along my neck as his hand did the same up my leg. My hands stayed wrapped around his neck, never wanting to let go of him.
“I know,” I breathed pulling his face up to my lips and kissing him. In all reality it had been about a week since we had gotten back together meaning more than a week since we’ve had any physical intimacy. This was the first time we’d gotten to talk to each other since my date with Hidan. Well, now we were just flat out making out but eventually we would get to the talking. Sasuke’s hands then moved down my cheeks to my hips and held me close.
“Ugh, I’m all happy that you guys are back together but that doesn’t mean you guys can suck each other’s faces right in front of me,” Ino rudely interrupted. I smirked and bit Sasuke’s lips as I pulled away for emphasis. Since I was such a kind friend, I got Sasuke to pick up Ino and Shikamaru and take all of us to school. Sasuke and I were waiting for them and decided to make out to help past time. Ino and Shikamaru entered the car as we did the same. “Thank you so much Sasuke for taking us to school, stupid Deirdera decided to leave us,” she said buckling her seat belt. “Hn,” he replied. “So, I guess things aren’t going very well between Deidera and Shikamaru.  The blonde shook her head. “Nope, they aren’t. Deidera left us because I was with Shikamaru,” she said indignantly.  I turned to Shikamaru and he just sighed “Troublesome,” was all he mumbled. Ino rolled her eyes and patted him on the back. “They’re just cordial with each other when I’m around, but when I’m not…well that’s never happened because I’m not dumb enough to leave them alone,” she realized.
In minutes we pulled into Konoha High parking lot where Sasuke politely opened the door for me and the four of us walked inside. “Come on Sakura we can’t be late for Calculus,” Ino admonished already ahead of me. “Later, Sasuke,” I smiled before giving him a kiss on his lips. Sasuke then grabbed me and pulled me into a deeper kiss before finally letting me go with Ino leaving Sasuke and Shikamaru to walk by themselves. “Why can’t Shikamaru and I be like that?” Ino moped when I caught up to her stride. “Because he’s too lazy to put effort into something like that,” I laughed. Ino nodded in agreement.
We reached class just as the bell rang. Silently we slipped into our assigned seats, mine was next to Hinata. I took out my heavy book and began flipping pages to our next chapter while I listened to Kurenai-sensei take attendance. When I noticed that Naruto didn’t reply to the teacher calling out his name, my eyebrows furrowed. “Where’s Naruto?” I asked knowing that Hinata would know. The Hyuga frowned. “My dad somehow found out that him and I were together and went to the school and demanded that we had separate classes. Now we don’t have any classes together, besides lunch,” she stated. I sighed Hinata’s dad was one of the most strict father’s I have ever heard of. Although I have never met him Hinata has told me a decent amount of stuff about him. But Naruto was a kind and loving guy, who could not love him? “What’s his problem? Naruto’s a good person,” I protested. “It’s because of the chakra that rests within him. He thinks he is dangerous,” she stated. My fists clenched with I slight anger. Sasuke had told me about Naruto’s special chakra a long time. When they were younger it was almost uncontrollable. But now he had mastered it, for the most part. “But Naruto has some type of control over it, right?” I asked just to be sure. The Hyuga stayed quiet for a while before answering. “Kinda, but my dad begs to differ,” she replied, as she began to start her classwork, I did the same. “Don’t worry Hinata, I’ll keep you and Naruto together, don’t worry,” I reassured. Hinata humbly thanked me before we were both shushed be Kurenai-sensei.  I vowed to keep these two people together. They were too adorable to be split apart.
                                                            ------------------------------------------------
“Our date that we had last week was fun,” Hidan smiled to me as we headed into second period Biology. I smirked trying not to laugh at his odd innuendo. “Yeah, I had a good time,” I replied sitting in my seat. “Until your boyfriend came and ruined everything,” he said dryly as he took his seat next to me. This time a laugh escaped me. “Sorry Hidan,” I chuckled. Then, out of nowhere Itachi popped in the conversation.
“So you and my brother are back together,” he said monotonously.  I slowly nodded wondering what he would say. He simply nodded his head and then turned his head. “Wow Itachi, how long are you going to act like this towards me, like when are we going to have a normal conversation together?” I asked obviously annoyed with his attitude.  “Let us talk now then,” he bluntly stated. I pointed to my schoolwork in acknowledgement. “We have classwork to do,” I protested. Itachi gave me his same blank stare. “Sakura, you and I are both aware that spending a couple of minutes to converse will not refrain you from doing your work,” he measly stated. I rolled my eyes, knowing that he was right and followed him out the classroom. “So would you like to speak to me about?” he asked as he closed the door behind us.  “I want to clear our feelings up,” I announced. “Sakura, I too was confused but it is clear that we can’t and will never be together,” he said the slightest emotion coming from his voice. My eyes widened, oh so now he wanted to give up, not that I minded.  “Really? You mean it?” I asked trying not to sound too surprise. He crossed his arms and smirked. “Why, do you want me to like you?” he asked his eyebrow quirked up. I reverently shook my head in protest.
          “NO-I mean-we-I,”
“It’s okay, I understand Sakura,” he chuckled. I narrowed my eyes; Itachi was always such a teaser. “I’m glad we can’t easily resolve this,” I remarked feeling genuinely relieved. He gave me the tiniest of grins. Although I will always some type of feeling towards Itachi, I know that it would always be overridden by my love for Sasuke and to me that was okay. I was feeling so much closure right now. “Sakura,” Itachi said before opening the door. “I shall always care for you, so when you get tired of my brother, you know where I am,” he winked surprisingly enough. I laughed but still nodded my head in agreement as we finally entered back the classroom.  I could finally love Sasuke with these two guys over my head.
“Yay! Itachi-san and Hidan are friends with Sakura-chan,” Tobi cheered in his stupid little voice. “Yeah,” I simply said when he looked at me waiting for a response.  I sat back in my seat and then finally got to work. “Oh yes, Sakura I nearly forgot, did Sasuke tell you about…..our parents?” Itachi asked with a smirk on his face. I furrowed my eyebrow. “What about them?” Itachi then chuckled darkly. “Don’t worry he’ll tell you,”
                                                                    -------------------------------
“Your parents think I’m a slut?!” I shouted to Sasuke as we headed to lunch. Sasuke covered his ears in annoyance but I diudn’t care, this was serious. “Yeah, they think your just some fling, mostly because I always sneak you into my house and havn’t introduced them to you,” he stated as though this was something that was okay. I scoffed. “Then let me meet them!” I protested. Sasuke winced. “Sakura, they aren’t the nicest people and a little judgmental,” he said.  I took that into deep consideration considering that fact that they think I’m a slut and they hadn’t even met me yet. I shrugged, when they meet me, then they won’t have that view of me. “Would I be the first girl to get introduced to them?” I asked. Sasuke simply nodded. I grinned. “Then they would know that this is special, right?” I pressed on. It was his turn to shrug now. “Maybe, but I-,”
“Okay then Sasuke, I’m meeting your parents and that’s it,” I declared lovingly pulling him close to me. He looked at me incredulously. “Are you ordering me?” he said playfully. I smirked. “Maybe,” I replied before growling at him. He guffawed as he opened the door and let me in first, not before giving my butt a playful squeeze. “You perv,” I giggled. He replied by sneaking a smooch on my lips. “So, am I going to get to meet your parents?” I asked with hope in my voice as I grabbed my tray. Sasuke thought for a while and then spoke. “Yes, Sakura,” he reluctantly said. I giddied with joy. Excitement surprisingly flowed through me.   “When do you want to meet them?” he asked his voice void of emotion as he decided what to eat.  “Tonight?” I asked. He nodded accepting my request.  I leaned my head on his shoulder, showing him appreciation. “I’ll make sure to thank you later,” I whispered in his ear. His eyebrows rose. “Is that something that I should look forward to?” he teased. My eyes beamed. “Of course,” I replied as we paid for our lunch and then went to sit down with everyone else.
“Okay guys, we need to talk about Hindata and Naruto,” Ino stated beginning the conversation.  “There’s nothing to discuss, everything is just fine,” Naruto interrupted. But we knew that there was something wrong with him. Ever since they got split up, Naruto had been down, which was rare.  Hinata who was here as well nodded her head in agreement. “Yes Naruto and I have all of this handled,” Hinata quietly stated. I frowned, I really wanted them to help, but if they claimed that they were okay then I had to deal with that.  “Okay, but if you guys need anything, I’m here, we’re all here,” I replied. Ino shook her head, in total agreement.  Hinata stated her thanks obviously showing in her expression.  Naruto smiled his huge grin as ever. “Don’t worry Hinata I have some plans under my sleeve,” he smirked.  Hinata beamed back at Naruto making the fox boy even happier. I was suddenly humble that my parents didn’t the Sasuke-Oh yes they did especially after I told them what happened with the whole Karin situation. Oh gosh, we both have to deal with each other’s parents.
                                                            ---------------------------------------------------
After school, Sasuke insisted that now would be a good time to meet with his parents now. He seriously wanted to get this over with. I on the other hand was nervous out of my mind.  Now all of a sudden he was in such a rush to get me over there. He barely even gave me anytime to fix my hair and made sure to look presentable. “Don’t be nervous,” he said as he drove to his house. I took a deep breathe, glad that I had chosen a decent dress to wear to school today. “I’m not nervous,” I lied as I rubbed my hands together. He smirked at my discomfort while he made a sharp turn. I pouted. “What if they don’t like me?” I asked. He shrugged. “Then they don’t like you, but that won’t change anything between us,” Sasuke reasoned. What he said was true. Worst case scenario, his parents would forbid us from getting together and I’m sure that Sasuke would defy that easily. We traveled in awkward silence the rest of the way to his house, silently thinking about what I was going to say to his parents. I re combed my hair 6 timed and applied and reapplied make-up 5 more times.  Sasuke then stopped my after a while claiming that I was overreacting and annoying. A smile came upon my lips as we pulled up to his driveway. I took one more breathe while Sasuke got out and opened the door for me. There he led me up the walkway towards the front door. I watched his broad shoulders in awe, or maybe I was just distracting myself from thinking about anything else.  His positive gesture gave me hope. Even if his parents didn’t like me Sasuke would still love me. I clenched my hands as he opened the door to the mansion.
“Father, mother, I’m home,” he announced closing the door behind him.  Oddly enough, his parents were sitting at the dining room table which was a couple of feet away from the front door.  His mother, when he saw me had a faint smile in his lips; she was beautiful just like Sasuke.  Her eyes were black, but they had a certain warmth to them that I liked. I could tell that Sasuke had her pale skin and soft hair just by looking at her.  Though, when I looked at Sasuke’s dad a cold shrill came upon my neck. He had an unforgiving look on his face.  He sat his back straight with his eyes heartless and cold.  I was suddenly glad that the two Uchiha siblings had taken after their mother. I had to admit though, that they had their father’s ability to stare into your soul. Sasuke squeezed my hand, sensing my discomfort. “This is Sakura Haruno,” he announced. “I’m Mikoto and this is Fugaku, please sit,” she beckoned to the seat in front of them. With Sasuke following behind me I took a seat, butterflies flying crazily around my stomach. The father stayed silent almost brooding. “We have heard so little and seen so much of you, we wanted to see exactly who Sasuke was sneaking around,” Mikoto chuckled. “Sasuke has never introduced us to any of his entanglements so we were quite surprised,” Fugaku announced his voice still rough. I involuntarily winced, how harsh.  Sasuke placed a hand on my knee probably a sign to not be offended.  “This must have meant a lot to him; we concluded,” Mikoto added trying to do the same. “How long have you two been having this, relationship?” The father quizzed. “6 months,” Sasuke answered. Mikoto ahhed. “So that’s why Sasuke has been acting so differently,” she cooed adoringly to her son. Sasuke turned around hiding his embarrassment. As much as I wanted to know exactly how Sasuke had changed I knew I had to get to the point. I couldn’t go on any longer with Sasuke’s parents thinking that I’m a slut. “I really wanted us to meet because you had this assumption of me that I wanted to dissuade you from thinking of me as,” I stated trying my best to hide my blush. “I agree to say that you did leave a questionable impression but now there is a possibility for you to clear things up,” Mikoto smiled. I took a deep breath sincerely glad that they were going to let me fix this whole thing. “Well, I have a 3.8 GPA, although I do not have a job I do work around the community, I’m definetly not one of those loose girls and I love-,”
“There is no need for that, you may go,” Fugaku stated in his stern voice. My eyebrows arose. Wow that was quick. Oh gosh, what if he changed his mind and just wanted me to leave? Sasuke bowed to his father as he pulled me by my hand away from the table while my face showed utter shock. I had expected hours upon hours of drilling and answering hard questions but this had only lasted ten minutes.
“Wait right here,” he said taking me to the shotgun of his car and then walking back into his house. I sat in the passenger seat feeling bummed that I didn’t get to properly plead my case. No there was uneasiness between both our parents. I didn’t know how Sasuke’s parents feel about me and my parents absolutely detest Sasuke. But my parents didn’t know the details of the ordeal that happened nor the resolve that we had come to. I didn’t really feel like dealing with them, but I knew that I would have to deal will them soon enough. Just as I was about to think up a plan Sasuke came into the car. “Just had a little talk with my parents,” he said as he started the engine. I perked up hoping for the best. “About me?” I asked running my hand across the black leather of the dashboard. He turned to me and nodded.  “My mom really likes you, but my dad he’s skeptical, as he always is,” Sasuke reported. I sighed with relief. Although I only had half of the approvals, it was enough for me.  “Now we just have to get you into the grace of my parents,” I said hopefully as my other hand traced a lock of Sasuke’s hair. His smile disappeared into a frown. “That, I’m not so happy about,”
Suddenly an idea sprung into my head. “Remember that thing I promised that we’d do earlier today?” I smirked as I trailed my hand from his hair to down his chest. He cocked an eyebrow. “Oh yes, I do actually. Would you like to embark on it?” he smiled his eyes looking playful. “My mom’s not home,” I stated my eyebrows waggling suggestively. Immediately Sasuke revved up the engine and sped out his neighborhood.
